Amy , Practice Manager of Operations

Amy is a native of Florida and has over 20 years in the dental field. She is a proud mom of seven children (5 girls, 2 boys), an Airforce mom and a super proud mimi to her two grandchildren. Amy and her amazing husband Tim love anything outdoors and can almost always be found on the weekends at a baseball field supporting their sons.

Tawnya , Business Assistant

My name is Tawnya and I have been with Middleburg Family Dental Care for the last four years as a business assistant but I have been in dentistry for over 9 years as a previous dental assistant. I enjoy being in dentistry and seeing the joy a new smile brings to patients. The business and numbers part of my job is always a challenge but one that I enjoy. I'm a Clay County native and love being able to work in my community where I was born and raised. In my free time I enjoy relaxing at home with my 11 year old son, 1 year old daughter, and my boyfriend. We spend our time in the pool and we really love hosting fun parties and cook outs with friends and family. Our favorite hobby is riding our four wheelers together and camping outdoors. I also enjoy cooking and being able to have dinner every night at the table together as a family to discuss our day.

Vera , Business Assistant

I have been in the dental field for a while; however, this is my first year working for Heartland Dental. I enjoy being in the dental field because I love watching patients' smiles transform, the confidence they get is rewarding. I have three beautiful children and a wonderful husband. Our family is very adventurous and we love exploring new places. Whether it be kayaking or checking out new restaurants we are always on the go. I also enjoy spontaneous gatherings with my family and five god children. I look forward to my future here at Middleburg Family Dental Care and expanding my dental knowledge and seeing all the smiling faces that walk through the door.

Camila , Business Assistant

I am originally from Chile. Moved to the U.S when I was 12 years old. I graduated from Orange park Highschool in 2006. I started my dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant. I assisted for 2 years and decided I wanted to challenge myself and learn the admin side of dentistry. I joined Middleburg Family Dental Care in May of 2022 as a Business Assistant. Every day is a challenge and I get to learn something new. I have been blessed to work with some of the best dentists in town. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and traveling with them to create the best possible memories.

Jessica , Hygienist

I have been a hygienist since 2012 and with Middleburg Family Dental Care since 2014. I'm a mother of three. I enjoy finding ways to have small adventures with my children and spending time in nature.

Karen , Hygienist

Karen is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. She has lived in South Florida, the San Diego area and Atlanta, GA before moving to Orange Park. As a Dental Hygienist, her goal is to share her knowledge with her patients on how to keep and maintain a healthy mouth, and at the same time, make her patients feel at ease, with her friendly and cheerful demeanor. Karen is also a veteran of the United States Navy, where she served as a Dental Technician and upon the completion of her enlisted, she enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at Santa Fe Community College, in Gainesville, Florida and graduated with an Associates in Science Dental Hygiene. She’s been married to her husband, Mike, for 29 years and together they have a son, Joseph along with their dog and six cats. She's a foodie at heart, who likes cooking shows and creating meals for her family. Loves to dance! And is a Jazzercise Dance Fitness Instructor. She also enjoys going on cruises, camping and traveling.

I've been a hygienist for 40 years! I love helping people achieve their dental health goals. I have two grown daughters, have been married for 33 years and we have a 4 year old Staffordshire Terrier named Elvis. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I've been with Middleburg Family Dental Care for 9 months. I have been a Hygienist for 34 yrs and continue to enjoy my profession. I am passionate about Teaching and Assisting patients achieve excellent Oral Health. I love to get away on weekends and explore the different beaches and nature trails around us. I'm from Upstate NY originally and came here to be closer to family.
